Five & Seven Pinot Noir
$150.00 – $480.00
Hello Trinity University Alumni and Supporters,
After many years, we are back with a Trinity University wine. Some of you may recall a Novy Zinfandel over a decade ago, which sold out very quickly. This time around we have created a Pinot Noir – my specialty grape – from two outstanding Sonoma County vineyards.
This wine is even more special to me as the final blend was decided upon by my son, and fellow Trinity graduate, Christian Lee (class of 2021). Working together we came up with the remarkable wine and are honored to share it with you.
20% of sales go to Trinity University.
The 2021 Five & Seven Sonoma County Pinot Noir is a blend of wine from premier vineyards in both the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast appellations. Coming from a superb vintage for Pinot Noir, this wine showcases bright red fruits from the cooler coastal vineyards as well and more lush, darker fruit tones from the Russian River Valley. The wine gains weight on the mid-palate and finishes with a long, slightly tannic finish. This promises a long lifetime ahead for the wine. At the moment it will pair well with food such as pork and medium red meats, but this wine should last for a good 5-8 years easily.
Produced with native yeasts and bottled without fining or filtration.
