95-93 POINTS JEB DUNNUCK!
“The 2021 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard Sud reveals a ruby, translucent hue to go with a spicy, savory nose of red and black fruits, iron, baking spices, and leafy herbs. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and structured, with good concentration on the palate, it will drink nicely right out of the gate yet also evolve for a decade.” – Jeb Dunnuck
The 2021 Beau Marchais Soberanes Vineyard Sud Pinot Noir comes from the southern half of the Soberanes Vineyard…and earlier ripening section behind the house on the property. In 2019, combining the two sections that we source from the vineyard seemed to be the right call, but this year the differences were too pronounced and keeping them separate was the way to go. Only 151 cases were produced.
